neglected
I told you guys from the very start that this site might be updated infrequently but of course I didn’t expect it to be away for a while but that thing called life got in my way! I picked up a couple of fairly intensive contracts and have neglected this blog as well as my plants.
Valuable lesson here though, when you do have a busy lifestyle and life in the city (or the country of course!) then you do need to know the length of your reach. That is don’t exceed the number of plants that you can look after easily or the whole lot will suffer.
I’ve lost a couple of plants and nearly all are suffering from neglect so I took my one day off today and made sure I watered all of them with rainwater! I also took the time to do a little harvesting!
As you can see I got a bunch of cherry tomatoes, a couple of snow peas and two nicely sized chillies! The snow peas are already eaten and tasted awesome. The tomatoes and the chillies will be used tonight on pizza and left over tomatoes on cheese toasties tomorrow at work!
Whilst I was absent though it’s nice to see that you guys haven’t been slacking off and you should go check out nowickedwitch’s great photos of her gardening exploits over at wonderland or not.
So I’m going to scale back and make sure I keep the posts at least a little regular!
