Easter Monday Spent Well
For some reason I thought all the shops would be open yesterday because I was going to make the trek out to Bunnings (an Australian home and garden centre) but of course they were closed. So instead gorging on chocolate was on the cards.
Today was a much more productive day because they were open and I could pick up my supplies. It looks like I’m set for a couple of weeks now!
I grabbed a lot of potting mix and some:
- Mini Sweet Choc Capsicum (when was the last time you saw this variety at the supermarket)
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Snow Peas
- Mignonette Lettuce
They have all been planted and will feature here over the next week or so (I’ll link them in above when they get written about).
The other thing I did today was set up the new compost bin out of a very old metal bin that may have been a compost bin in the past as its base was cut out. I love a good compost bin!
